Today, the Criminal Division specializing in terrorism cases at the Tunis Court of First Instance rejected requests for the release of the defendants in the State Security Conspiracy 2 case. The trial has been postponed to the session on May 27th, according to a judicial source from Diwan FM.

The division commenced its initial session today, involving investigations concerning 21 defendants. Among them are Youssef Chahed, the head of the Ennahda Movement, leaders from Ennahda, a former advisor to former Prime Minister Hamadi Jebali, and former security officials from the Ministry of Interior.
